About the position

The CDL Tanker Truck Driver (Nights) position at Coffeyville Resources involves the safe and efficient transportation of crude oil products via tank truck. The role requires adherence to strict safety and regulatory standards while ensuring accurate measurement and documentation of transported products. Drivers will operate on a local route, returning home daily, and must be adaptable to schedule changes, including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Provide safe and efficient transportation of crude oil products via tank truck.
  • Ensure accurate measurement of crude oil by applying API gauging and sampling standards.
  • Meet established transport productivity requirements.
  • Operate a hydraulic pump system safely.
  • Use communication tools, including a tablet computer for data entry.
  • Prepare run tickets, vehicle inspection records, and electronic driver logs in compliance with regulations.
  • Maintain adherence to DOT, OSHA, and EPA regulations and standards.
  • Adapt to schedule changes including nights, weekends, and sharing equipment with other drivers.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Current CDL license with hazardous materials endorsement as per DOT regulations.
  • 2+ years of verifiable commercial driving experience, including driving a tractor trailer unit with a GVW of 80,000 lbs.
  • Crude oil transportation experience preferred.
  • Experience with electronic logging devices preferred.
  • Experience with onboard computer and communications software preferred.
  • Willingness to work expanded shifts, nights, and/or weekends if required.
  • Willingness to share assigned truck/trailer equipment with other drivers on a rotating schedule.
