The Delivery Driver position at U Rent It - Landua Specialty Corporation involves safely and efficiently transporting goods to various locations. This role is crucial as it represents the company to customers, ensuring timely and courteous service while adhering to safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Safely load, unload and transport rental inventory to customer locations in a timely, safe and courteous manner
• Safely and appropriately secure loads with chains and binders, occasionally large straps
• Demonstrate operation and safety features of rental equipment and determine customer's ability to use the equipment
• Maintain driver logs and complete pre-trip inspection
• Maintain the service and appearance of the transport vehicle, equipment and inventory
• Follow delivery/pickup instructions from the dispatcher and manager
• Perform other duties as requested

Requirements

• A Valid Class A CDL Driver's License and a clean driving record
• Minimum of 3 years CDL driving experience
• Attention to safety and detail
• Ability to navigate efficiently
• Knowledge and compliance of state regulations regarding height and weight maximums and winch operations
• A high school diploma or equivalent GED
• Customer service orientation
• Knowledge of loading and unloading equipment onto flatbeds
• Knowledge and experience of heavy equipment/tractors
