About the position
The CDL Truck Driver for the Van OTR Fleet at Roehl Transport is responsible for hauling no-touch freight across 48 states and Canada. This position offers a Dynamic Pay Plan that rewards drivers for their time and performance, providing opportunities for additional income through roles such as Driver Trainer or by referring other drivers. The role involves traveling extensively and interacting with various shippers and locations.
Responsibilities
- Haul no-touch freight across 48 states and Canada.
- Adhere to safety regulations and company policies while driving.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle inspections.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and other team members.
- Participate in training programs to enhance driving skills and safety awareness.
Requirements
- Valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License).
- Minimum age of 21 years.
- Clean driving record with no major violations.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug test.
- Strong communication skills.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with over-the-road driving.
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELDs).
