Ward Trucking Atlanta LLC is seeking a dedicated and experienced CDL A Truck Driver to join our team in Jonesboro, GA. This position is primarily focused on Over-the-Road (OTR) driving within the Southeast region. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of driving experience and must be proficient in operating manual transmission vehicles. As a CDL A Driver, you will be responsible for transporting freight safely and efficiently while adhering to all regulatory compliance requirements. You will earn 27% of the gross weekly load amount, providing a competitive compensation structure based on your performance and the loads you handle. In this role, you will be expected to maintain compliance with the Electronic Logging Device (ELD) regulations, conduct pre-trip inspections on your vehicle, and ensure that the trailer is kept clean after each load. You will also be responsible for forwarding bills of lading and fuel receipts via text message upon completion of each load. Reliable transportation to the yard is essential, and due to insurance requirements, no riders or pets are allowed in the truck. This position may require some weekend work, so flexibility in your schedule is important.
