About the position

Penmac Staffing is looking for a CDLA driver to operate a Freightliner Columbia day cab and transport shipping containers locally in Ozark, MO. The role involves hauling containers to regional depots and occasionally delivering to customers, ensuring safe and compliant transportation of goods.

Responsibilities

• Operate an automatic Freightliner Columbia day cab and 40' trailer.
• Transport shipping containers from the yard in Ozark, MO to regional depot locations in Kansas City, MO and St. Louis, MO.
• Pick up either two 20' containers or one 40' container from the depot.
• Secure loads with straps and chains for safe transport.
• Fill in on delivery roles as needed, using a Ram 5500 and tilt bed trailer.

Requirements

• Two years of recent CDLA driving experience.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
• Clean Criminal Background Check (CBC).
• Recent DOT Medical Card attached to CDLA license.

Benefits

• $21 per hour
• Monday to Friday schedule from 8am to 4pm
