The CDS Full Time Event Manager - Product Demonstration position at Advantage Sales & Marketing is a vital role responsible for overseeing the recruitment, hiring, and supervision of in-store Product Demonstrators. This position is based in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, and is integral to ensuring that product demonstrations are executed effectively and efficiently. The Event Manager will be tasked with product preparation and presentation, ensuring that all demonstrations adhere to food safety and sanitation standards. This role requires strong communication skills, as the Event Manager will liaise between warehouse managers, vendors, and in-store Product Demonstrators. Additionally, participation in new location grand openings is a key responsibility, highlighting the importance of this role in promoting products and driving sales for Costco, where CDS serves as the preferred in-house event marketing provider. The Event Manager will work a set schedule from Tuesday to Saturday, typically from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, although this may vary based on operational needs. Responsibilities

  • Recruit, train and hire part-time staff.

Requirements

  • High school education or equivalent.
