About the position
GRAEF is seeking a CEI Inspector to work on various transportation projects in the NW Florida region. This role involves performing construction inspections and technical assignments under the supervision of GRAEF's CEI Construction Engineer or Project Administrator. The position allows for remote work, with the inspector able to reside anywhere in the Florida Panhandle.
Responsibilities
- Perform work on projects in the NW Florida region under the supervision of GRAEF's CEI Construction Engineer and/or Project Administrator or Senior Inspector.
- Conduct technical assignments in construction layout, engineering computations, inspecting construction work, and conducting field tests.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in construction inspection on bridge and/or roadway projects.
- Ability to perform work in the NW FL region.
- Ability to obtain required CTQP qualifications/Other jurisdictional certifications within 6 months from date of hire.
