About The Position

The Cell Culture Scientist at Seraxis is responsible for maintaining human cell cultures in compliance with regulatory standards. This role involves performing daily cell culture tasks, preparing media, and ensuring adherence to strict Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs). The position is integral to the company's mission in developing therapies in stem cells and regenerative medicine.

Requirements

• MSc or BSc in Cellular Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology or other related Life Science specialty
• At least 2 years of cell culture experience, including cell passaging
• Previous experience with adhering to strict GMPs or working in a regulated environment
• Familiar with gowning qualification and EM monitoring
• Excellent aseptic gowning and techniques
• Ability to work in a team

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cell culture following aseptic techniques
• Prepare media and mixing reagents
• Assist in inventory management
• Document all activities, including batch records & logsheets following strict GDPs
• Help update SOPs as needed
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment, work surfaces and ISO cleanroom
