At Apple, new ideas have a way of becoming extraordinary products, services, and customer experiences very quickly. As a Cellular Modem RF Firmware & System Integration Engineering Program Manager, you will be at the heart of our groundbreaking cellular modems, ensuring they meet performance, quality, and schedule requirements for Apple products. This role requires excellent interpersonal skills to work cross-functionally within a dynamic engineering environment. You will partner with engineers and managers from our RF Firmware and validation engineering teams, which is key to your success in this role. Your responsibilities will include delivering executive communication and presentations to support the decision-making process, clearly and effectively communicating overall program status, and identifying and resolving key bottlenecks and interdependencies of sophisticated RF projects. You will own the development and system integration of Cellular RF Firmware running on the RF transceiver to control digital and analog IP in both non-signaling and real-time full signaling modes. Your role will involve aligning and tracking the execution of Cellular RF Firmware plans across project phases, from concept definition and implementation to pre-silicon validation and feature bring-up on silicon. You will manage the productization of RF Firmware through cellular modem system testing, field and interoperability testing until production ramp. Additionally, you will drive and report RF Firmware activities for development, validation, non-regression testing, release management, improvements, and defect resolution. Anticipating risks, developing mitigation strategies, and facilitating conflict resolution will also be part of your responsibilities. You will deliver presentations supporting executive reviews, including project status, key metrics, top risks, and issues.
