About the position

As a Cellular Modem RF Firmware & System Integration Engineering Program Manager at Apple, you will play a crucial role in the development and integration of cellular modems, ensuring they meet performance, quality, and schedule requirements. This position requires strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across various engineering teams and deliver executive-level communications to support decision-making processes. You will manage the entire lifecycle of RF firmware development, from concept to production, while identifying and resolving key project bottlenecks.

Responsibilities

• Own the development and system integration of Cellular RF Firmware running on the RF transceiver.
• Align and track cross-functionally the execution of Cellular RF Firmware plans across project phases.
• Manage productization of RF Firmware through cellular modem system testing and production ramp.
• Drive and report RF Firmware activities for development, validation, and defect resolution.
• Anticipate risks, develop mitigation strategies, and facilitate conflict resolution.
• Deliver presentations supporting executive reviews including project status and key metrics.

Requirements

• BS degree in a relevant field.
• 10+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Demonstrated ability in engineering management or project/program management.
• Proven experience in wireless modem RF SW/FW development and integration.

Nice-to-haves

• Good understanding of development lifecycle for embedded software.
• Knowledge of cellular modem FR1 and FR2 RF line ups.
• Understanding of RF transceiver and RF front end components for cellular modems.
• Experience in RF system integration into cellular modem managing dependencies.
