About the position

The Center Director at KinderCare Education LLC is responsible for leading and managing a center that provides high-quality early childhood education and care. This role involves hiring and developing a team of educators, engaging with parents and the community, and promoting the value of early childhood education. The Center Director plays a crucial role in shaping the educational experiences of children and ensuring the center meets state licensing and accreditation standards.

Responsibilities

• Hire, engage and develop a team of "best in class" educators.
• Partner with parents to provide the best care and education for their children.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, community contacts, and corporate partners.
• Use business, sales, and marketing skills to grow KinderCare's presence in the community.

Requirements

• At least one year of solid leadership experience with the ability to develop, engage, and inspire a team.
• Outstanding customer service skills and strong organizational skills.
• Budget and financial accountability with revenue generation experience preferred.
• Knowledge of NAEYC/NAC and state licensing preferred.
• Ability to use a computer with basic proficiency and lift a minimum of 40 pounds.
• Ability to assume postures in low levels to engage with children and ensure their safety.
• Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate effectively.
