About the position

Kiddie Academy of Kenmore is seeking a Center Director to lead a team of qualified teachers and administrative staff in providing exceptional learning and development experiences for children and their families. This role combines early childhood education (ECE) experience with business management skills to influence the operations of the Academy, ensuring a collaborative and supportive environment for both staff and students.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the overall program including human resource development, staff scheduling, program planning, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Conduct student assessments and maintain family relations.
  • Oversee marketing and enrollment processes for the academy.
  • Ensure compliance with WA Licensing regulations for childcare centers.
  • Foster a positive work culture and support staff development.

Requirements

  • Minimum two years of full-time experience in managing large center-based programs in a Center Director role.
  • AA degree in childcare, management, or a related field.
  • Thorough knowledge of WA Licensing regulations for childcare centers.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Action-oriented, organized, and a strategic thinker.

Nice-to-haves
