Responsibilities

  • Hire, engage and develop a team of 'best in class' educators.
  • Partner with parents to provide the best care and education for their children.
  • Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, community contacts, and corporate partners.
  • Use business, sales, and marketing skills to grow KinderCare's presence in the community.

Requirements

  • At least one year of solid leadership experience with the ability to develop, engage, and inspire a team.
  • Outstanding customer service skills and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and handle multiple situations effectively.
  • Budget and financial accountability with revenue generation experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of NAEYC/NAC and state licensing preferred.
  • Meet state specific guidelines for the role.
  • Basic computer proficiency and ability to lift a minimum of 40 pounds.
  • Ability to engage in physical activity and assume postures to interact with children.
  • Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate effectively.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in early childhood education or child care management.
