About the position
The Center Manager is responsible for overseeing a FullSpeed Automotive retail facility, ensuring it meets high operational standards and delivers excellent customer experiences. This role involves driving sales, managing costs, and ensuring profitability while maintaining a safe and well-staffed environment. The Center Manager is also tasked with training employees, enforcing company policies, and fostering a strong customer service culture.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of store operation to ensure quality and profitability.
- Enforce company safety standards and compliance with local and national laws.
- Schedule teammates to meet customer demands and ensure proper store hours.
- Minimize customer claims by ensuring adherence to service processes.
- Engage with customers to build relationships and expand the customer base.
- Meet or exceed sales goals through vehicle health checks and service reviews.
- Control shop costs including parts, operational expenses, and labor.
- Build and lead a team of service-oriented technicians, including hiring and training.
- Maintain the building and surrounding area to create an inviting environment.
- Oversee inventory management and ensure optimal POS system maintenance.
Requirements
- Management experience in a retail automotive environment is required.
- Service and operations background in the automotive industry is required.
- High school diploma or GED is required.
