About the position
The Center Manager at MD Now is responsible for overseeing clinic operations, ensuring high-quality patient care, and managing clinic staff. This role involves hiring, training, and supervising staff, as well as developing and executing clinic goals to enhance performance. The Center Manager will also monitor patient flow, manage compliance measures, and handle cash management procedures, all while fostering a supportive environment for both patients and staff.
Responsibilities
- Interview, hire, train, and supervise clinic staff.
- Develop and lead the execution of clinic goals and objectives in support of overall clinic performance and operations.
- Manage team performance including patient and visitor issues, providing feedback to employees, and recognizing good performance.
- Monitor patient flow, keeping patients informed and overseeing efforts to reduce wait times.
- Ensure all cash management procedures are followed appropriately.
- Regularly communicate with primary accounts and ensure compliance measures are met.
Requirements
- H.S. Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration or related field is highly preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in a medical office setting is required.
- 1+ year of experience in the supervision of staff is helpful.
- RN, LPN, MA, NCT, RT or other applicable clinical license beneficial.
- BLS Certification is required within 30 days of start.
Nice-to-haves
- Federal Breath Alcohol Screening Certification within 3 months of employment or promotion.
- Federal Drug Screening Certification within 3 months of employment or promotion.
