About The Position

The Duty Desk is responsible for payroll processing, record keeping, financial tracking and scheduling system management for the stations that their team supports. Requirements

  • A minimum of 6 months of customer service or airline operations experience.
  • Strong diplomacy, problem solving, and teamwork skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must have a valid unexpired driver's license issued by a US state, a US territory or the District of Columbia.
  • Ability to work with and maintain confidential information.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Depending on work location, ability to obtain USPS Mail Handling Certification.
  • Ability to communicate in English.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum age of 18.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Nice To Haves

  • A minimum of 1 year of customer service or community service experience.
  • Experience within a HUB environment.
  • Experience working in an office environment.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain integrity of the payroll system, process individual employee timecards and accurate payroll.
  • Process data for financial tracking and forecasting.
  • Notification to leadership of employee attendance occurrences.
  • Reconcile approved timecard exceptions.
  • Maintain qualifications for their workgroup, either Passenger Service or Ground Service if required by location.
  • Provide support to the station as operationally needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
