About the position

The Level 4 DC Power Technician is responsible for the installation and maintenance of telecom equipment within central offices, MSOs, and data centers. This role requires advanced skills in performing circuit modifications, software upgrades, and power transition work, ensuring the efficient operation of power distribution systems. The technician will act as the in-charge person for installations, overseeing the addition, removal, and modification of equipment and circuits.

Responsibilities

• Complete all requirements of Level 1, 2, and 3 Installers.
• Perform additions, removals, and modifications on working equipment and circuits.
• Conduct circuit modifications and software additions or upgrades.
• Execute power transition work and manage battery additions or removals.
• Test and turn up equipment to ensure operational readiness.

Requirements

• Must have 5 years of experience installing telecom equipment within a central office, MSO, or data center.
• Ability to perform as the Installation Supplier's in-charge person.
• Proficient in performing circuit modifications and software upgrades.
