Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update filing and database systems.
  • Print and/or sort all customer documents including invoices, statements, and other time-sensitive materials accurately.
  • Print the receiving schedule and create purchase orders when needed.
  • Utilize dock scheduler program to schedule receiving appointments for efficient inbound processes.
  • Communicate with customers, employees, and other individuals to answer questions.
  • Support warehouse operations by ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available.
  • Identify deficiencies in warehouse employee job methods affecting office procedures and report to supervision.
  • Interact with warehouse personnel to assist with their assigned duties.
  • Ensure accurate data entry and processing to support various warehouse processes.
  • Operate office machines such as photocopiers, scanners, and fax machines.
  • Fulfill batch orders by separating order stickers by order number and placing them in batches for order selectors.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or required.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of MS Office applications including Word, Outlook, and Excel.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attentive to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task as well as prioritize assignments.
  • Ability to work early A.M. shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Ability to develop knowledge of warehouse operations, systems, and procedures as needed.
  • Ability to use sound reasoning and ascertain relevant information for decision making.
