The Central Operations Coordinator at Franklin Energy is responsible for supporting contract and rebate administration while providing exceptional customer service to clients and partners. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong communication skills to process applications, determine eligibility, and assist customers with program requirements. The position emphasizes teamwork, problem-solving, and adherence to quality targets in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Follow detailed, standard practices and operating procedures to review and process applications and supporting documents for accuracy and completeness.
  • Make quick, consistent decisions to determine applicant eligibility based on program terms and conditions.
  • Provide technical support to applicants for the online application and document submission processes.
  • Explain program requirements to applicants via phone and in writing.
  • Use good judgment when discussing non-public personal information with applicants.
  • Collaborate with team members to complete processing tasks and assist others when needed.
  • Identify issues requiring deviation from standard practices and work with management to implement solutions.
  • Communicate with management to provide status updates, report concerns, and suggest improvements.
  • Organize, scan, file, and store hard copy applications.
  • Achieve expected quality targets and KPIs (key performance indicators).
  • Maintain attendance expectations and adhere to break schedules.
  • Interact with customers through various channels including phone, email, and chat.
  • Support other departments and perform related tasks as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1 - 3 years of previous office experience required.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle a wide variety of tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and a self-starter with the ability to prioritize workload.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong data entry skills in tracking systems/databases.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, in a professional manner.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data and solve practical problems.
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
