About the position

The Central Scheduling team operates from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday. This position involves scheduling outpatient diagnostic testing for Radiology and Cardiology, reviewing and processing orders from Powerchart, and managing request lists and faxes. The role emphasizes providing excellent customer service related to the scheduling of tests and is responsible for delivering customer-facing services within the Revenue Cycle System Services. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, scheduling, registration, insurance verification, prior authorization, financial counseling, cashiering, release of information, and customer service. The position adheres to departmental productivity, quality, and service standards in support of operational goals.

Requirements

• At least one year of experience in hospital or physician Revenue Cycle strongly preferred
• Working knowledge of patient registration and financial clearance
• High level of interpersonal and problem-solving skills
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work within a team and maintain collaborative relationships
• Ability to take initiative and meet objectives
