About The Position

The Central Supply Associate position at DMC Receiving Hospital involves supporting the healthcare facility by managing the supply chain for medical instruments and equipment. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend the English language.
• Three to six months of sterile processing experience, which can include minimum duties such as delivery of case carts, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Decontaminating, sorting, inspecting, and testing various standard and specialty instruments and equipment.
• Assembling and delivering case carts, crash carts, and other emergency carts according to established pick lists.
• Restocking unused, returned supplies and notifying appropriate personnel of low or out-of-stock supplies.
• Restocking various nursing areas via requisition or pick list.
• Providing standard customer service practices by routing issues received by a customer to the appropriate personnel.
