About the position

Lacey Post Acute and Rehabilitation is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Medical Records/Central Supply Clerk to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing patient medical records and ensuring the efficient supply of medical materials and equipment within our facility. Responsibilities

• Maintain and organize patient medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and facility policies.
• Ensure the accuracy and completeness of medical records by performing regular audits and updates.
• Process requests for medical records from authorized personnel and external entities.
• Manage inventory levels for medical supplies, equipment, and other materials.
• Coordinate with nursing and administrative staff to ensure timely availability of supplies.
• Assist with ordering, receiving, and distributing medical supplies as needed.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to support efficient patient care operations.
• Perform additional administrative duties as required to support the facility.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in healthcare administration or related field is a plus.
• Previous experience in medical records or healthcare supply management preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
