About the position

The Central Supply Clerk at Avalon Health Care Bellingham is responsible for the distribution and inventory management of resident care supplies, ensuring compliance with facility policies and regulations. Responsibilities

• Administer the distribution of resident care supplies in accordance with facility policies.
• Maintain inventory and stock supplies at the nurses' station and other supply points.
• Record inventory and cost data, providing it to the business office or inputting it into the computer.
• Maintain a safe and orderly work area and conduct label reconciliation.
• Monitor central supply levels and work with management to analyze supply usage.
• Order, receive, and restock supplies according to procedures, securing emergency or critical items.
• Monitor costs and maintain related records, reconciling input at the end of the month to invoices.

Requirements

• CNA preferred but not required.
• Related administrative experience necessary to accomplish the job.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to relate positively to residents and families, and work cooperatively with other employees.
• Basic computer knowledge and aptitude to learn company software.
• Must pass drug screening, criminal background investigation, and reference inquiry.
