About the position

The Central Supply Technician - Supply Chain at PeaceHealth is responsible for the cleaning, distribution, and management of medical equipment and supplies. This role ensures adherence to clean technique standards and involves monitoring inventory levels, performing receiving duties, and maintaining a clean environment for equipment storage. The position is full-time and requires evening shifts.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the collection of contaminated equipment and instruments from floors.
• Re-stocking inventory and non-stock supplies, performing monthly outdate process and documentation.
• Cleaning equipment and storing it in a clean environment on floors.
• Clean and maintain department equipment, such as pumps, etc.
• Assembles some specialized trays for procedures and distributes them as appropriate.
• Ensures proper shelving labels are in place and is responsible for Par Management on assigned units.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Basic computer skills including MS Office applications.
• Demonstrated proficiency in verbal and written communications.
• Ability to work independently and possess strong organizational skills.
• Ability to maintain numerical order of supplies.
• Ability to move around the area, with frequent lifting up to 50lbs and occasionally manipulating up to 100lbs with assistance.
