About the position
The Central Texas family is seeking a full-time live-in/out nanny/household manager to care for their four children, ages 12, 9, 7, and 5. The role involves managing household tasks while ensuring the children are engaged and cared for in a safe and nurturing environment. The ideal candidate will have strong moral values, be trustworthy, and enjoy an active lifestyle, as the family lives on 30 acres by the Guadalupe River and values outdoor activities.
Responsibilities
- Caring for the children and ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Organizing the refrigerator and pantry.
- Managing household inventory and grocery shopping.
- Cleaning up after the children and encouraging them to clean up after themselves.
- Driving children to and from activities and school using the family vehicle.
- Laundry for the children and family.
- Cooking for the children and family.
- Keeping common areas clean and tidy.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- CPR/First Aid Certification (renew as needed).
- Two or more years of childcare experience.
- Excellent work and personal references.
- Valid U.S. driver's license.
- Ability to make a one-year commitment.
- Competent swimmer.
- Non-smoker.
- Willingness to undergo an extensive background check.
