About the position

The Keyholder Associate at Pendleton Woolen Mills is a part-time role focused on driving sales and providing exceptional customer service. This position involves supporting store operations, maintaining visual standards, and ensuring compliance with company policies. The associate will play a crucial role in connecting customers with products that enrich their lives, while also being responsible for opening and closing store functions.

Responsibilities

• Support the company expectation and achieve sales and profitability through driving product knowledge, exceptional customer service, and sales.
• Maintain store visual objectives and housekeeping expectations.
• Monitor store email and react to business critical directives.
• Provide positive feedback and encourage positive selling and customer service behaviors.
• Communicate consistently in writing and verbally with store management.
• Responsible for shift opening and closing store functions.
• Ensure store is opened with preparedness and secured at closing.
• Create and execute daily planner and communicate expectations with staff.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures and ensure store team is compliant.
• Complete sales transactions with efficiency from end to end.
• Escalate store issues in a timely manner; identify and act to solve problems and recommend improvements.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• 2 years retail sales or customer service experience including a minimum of 1 year shift supervision.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office email and retail inventory software.
• Understanding of the POS system and other software used by the stores.
