About the position
The position involves performing various product order fulfillment tasks, with a focus on maintaining safety and effective communication within the workplace. The role may also require assistance in the Shipping & Receiving Department, ensuring that all operations are conducted in a safe and organized manner.
Responsibilities
- Perform product order fulfillment tasks including packaging and labeling.
- Assist in wipe pack machine operations and cleaning.
- Maintain effective housekeeping and organization of work areas.
- Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to MAS location.
- Deliver products to appropriate departments or personnel.
- Comply with all established safety procedures and techniques to ensure a safe working environment.
- Operate tools, equipment, and machinery according to prescribed safety procedures.
- Correct unsafe conditions in the work area and report any unsafe conditions to the supervisor or safety manager.
- Communicate respectfully and effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Participate actively in department team meetings.
Requirements
- Ability to read and write in English.
- Ability to understand and follow safety procedures.
- Ability to understand and follow directions.
- Ability to operate hand tools and mechanical equipment/motorized lifts as needed.
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
