About the position

The La Conner School District is seeking qualified applicants for teaching positions. Selected candidates will be required to meet specific conditions of employment, including providing necessary documentation and completing required training. Responsibilities

• Provide originals of all Teaching and Administrative Certificates to be copied by business office staff.
• Submit official, sealed transcripts to the Personnel Department prior to the issuance of the first paycheck.
• Verify years of certificated experience.
• Pass a successful WSP and FBI background clearance check.
• Complete the Washington State Sexual Misconduct Disclosure Release Form.
• Provide I-9 Employment Eligibility documentation.
• Complete W-4 form and WA State Department of Retirement Status form.
• Submit immunization history for individuals born on or after January 1, 1957.
• Complete HIV/Bloodborne Pathogen and Hazardous Materials training.
• Complete Hepatitis B training if required.
• Provide a Social Security Card and Driver's License for identification upon hiring.

Requirements

• Must be a citizen or have a visa permitting work in the United States.
• Must be physically able to perform the duties of the job.
• Must authorize La Conner School District to investigate personal, educational, vocational, or employment history.
• Must certify that all information provided is true and complete.
• Must be willing to submit to a criminal history background check, including a fingerprint check.
