About the position

The Certification and Meetings Manager at Raybourn Group International (RGI) is responsible for overseeing the certification lifecycle and managing event logistics for various nonprofit and professional organizations. This role involves coordinating certification processes, managing partnerships, and ensuring data accuracy in certification platforms. Additionally, the manager will assist in planning and executing meetings and events, serving as the primary contact for members, and handling financial responsibilities related to membership dues and invoicing.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all stages of the certification lifecycle, including reviewing applications and managing authorizations.
  • Manage testing platform, coordinate exams, and provide training to partners.
  • Process certification extensions, recertifications, and handle certification-related complaints.
  • Maintain certification handbooks, forms, templates, and study resources.
  • Host and manage webinars and peer-to-peer education sessions.
  • Assist with site selection and act as the primary contact for venues and vendors for events.
  • Manage event logistics, including registration systems and speaker communications.
  • Coordinate exhibitor booths and on-site event materials.
  • Handle sponsorships, including renewals and promotional activities.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for members, addressing association-related questions.
  • Maintain membership database and create monthly membership reports.
  • Process check and credit card payments, including membership dues and invoices.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree and three (3) years of experience, or equivalent related work experience.
  • Ability to handle multiple concurrent tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Expertise in certification management or equivalent experience with complex projects.
  • Experience in event planning preferred.
  • Proven ability to learn and follow complex procedures and policies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and effective communication skills.

  • Experience in volunteer management.
  • Proficiency in handling customer inquiries via email and phone.
