About the position
The Certified Alignment Tech at RNR Tire Express is responsible for overseeing all activities within the shop, ensuring safety guidelines are followed, and maintaining shop inventory and equipment. This role involves supervising tire technicians, certifying their work, and completing alignments. Responsibilities
- Oversee all activity within the installation shop.
- Ensure shop safety guidelines are followed.
- Complete paperwork and maintain shop inventory, products, tools, and equipment.
- Supervise and certify tire technicians, ensuring the quality of their work.
- Complete all alignments in the store or oversee training of alignments to help certify tire technicians.
- Place product and supply orders.
- Organize delivered merchandise.
- Clean and maintain returned products.
- Maintain an organized inventory system.
- Lift and organize heavy products.
Requirements
- Ability to mount, balance, install tires and wheels.
- Use of tire and balancing machines.
- Alignment Certified.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving history.
- Professional proficiency in English.
- Certified by the State of Michigan to perform 4-wheel alignments.
Nice-to-haves
- Prior experience as a tire technician, wheel specialist, automotive technician, auto tech, or alignment tech.
