About the position
The Athletic Trainer (AT) will function under the direction of a Physician as a vital part of a thriving Physical Medicine & Rehab team. The AT will perform as a Physician Extender.
Responsibilities
- Assist patient flow in the clinic by facilitating
- Documenting and communicating patient care related activities both within and related services
- Casting and splinting as prescribed by the physician
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training, or Bachelor's in a related field (Kinesiology, Biomechanics, Sports Medicine, Exercise Science/Physiology, or health related profession) with internship route certification in Athletic Training
- BOC certification
- Florida State licensure as an athletic trainer
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong computer literacy
Nice-to-haves
- Master's in same or related field or 2 years' experience in a traditional on-field AT setting (preferred)
