The role includes working under the direction of a physician as part of a multi-disciplinary clinical team, with responsibilities that encompass patient services coordination, post-operative care, and athletic training services for local high schools and clubs.

Responsibilities

  • Provide patient care in hospital and clinic settings under physician direction.
  • Coordinate patient services including bracing and casting.
  • Instruct patients on self-care and home programs.
  • Manage post-operative care and follow-up calls to patients.
  • Deliver athletic training services to high school and club programs.
  • Assess, refer, and treat athletic injuries, tracking recovery progress.
  • Develop and implement injury care and prevention programs.
  • Adhere to all licensing board requirements and organizational policies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Athletic Training or a qualifying degree for NATA Certification.
  • Current National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA) Certification.
  • Current Athletic Training license in the State of Montana.
  • Current BLS Certification.
  • CPR and First Aid Instructor Certifications.
  • Experience in orthopedic or musculoskeletal office practice preferred.
