About the position
Lakeside Post Acute is seeking a Certified Dietary Manager to oversee the Dietary Department, ensuring high-quality meal service and compliance with dietary policies. This role involves planning, organizing, and evaluating dietary programs while maintaining communication with residents and staff to enhance customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct the Dietary Department and its programs.
- Develop and maintain written dietary policies and procedures; interpret them to employees, residents, and government agencies.
- Conduct annual reviews of dietary policies and procedures for necessary revisions.
- Interview residents or family members to obtain diet history and maintain ongoing communication regarding meal quality and satisfaction.
Requirements
- Dietary Certification
- One-year experience in a long-term care facility dietary department preferred.
- 3 years of Dietary Management experience preferred.
