About the position
The Certified Flagger position involves directing traffic for a traffic control company in the Medford, Oregon area. The role requires clear communication and adherence to state regulations while ensuring safety on the job site. This is a part-time position with flexible hours, primarily focused on traffic management.
Responsibilities
- Directing all traffic using signs and hand motions.
- Setting up and tearing down traffic control equipment each day.
- Maintaining attention at all times to ensure safety.
- Communicating clearly with team members and the public.
- Following all state traffic control rules and regulations.
Requirements
- Must be able to maneuver 50 lbs (lifting, bending, pushing or pulling).
- Must have Flagging Certification on person at all times.
- Must be able to stand/walk up to 10 hours per day.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
- Must provide a valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance.
- Must be able to take and pass a drug screen.
Benefits
