About the position

The Certified Google Cloud Platform Data Engineer role is designed for an experienced professional with a strong background in data engineering, particularly in data warehousing and analytics. The position requires expertise in building scalable data pipelines and implementing solutions on Google Cloud Platform. The ideal candidate will work independently to analyze, design, develop, and deploy data solutions that meet business requirements, while also ensuring data governance and effective communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, develop and deploy data solutions as per business requirements.
• Build scalable data pipelines for extraction, transformation, and loading of data.
• Implement data governance and manage metadata effectively.
• Communicate with senior business managers and executives regarding project updates and technical documentation.
• Utilize Google Cloud Platform tools such as Dataflow, DataProc, and Big Query for data implementation projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 12+ years of experience in Data Engineering.
• 6+ years of experience in Data Engineering with a focus on Data Warehousing and Data Analytics.
• 4+ years of experience with leading public cloud platforms.
• 4+ years of experience in designing and building scalable data pipelines.
• 4+ years of experience with Python and Scala, including working knowledge of Notebooks.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform data implementation projects.
• At least 2 years of experience in Data governance and Metadata Management.
• Strong understanding of relational and dimensional data modeling.
• Experience in DevOps and CI/CD related technologies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
