About the position

The Certified Home Health Aide (HHA) / Personal Care Aide (PCA) position involves providing essential care and support to clients in their homes. This role is crucial for assisting individuals with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and well-being. The hiring event aims to onboard qualified candidates on the spot, offering both certified and uncertified individuals the opportunity to join the team, with training provided for those without certification.

Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care and assistance to clients in their homes.
  • Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
  • Monitor and report changes in client health and behavior to the supervising nurse or agency.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
  • Support clients with mobility and transportation needs.

Requirements

  • HHA or PCA Certification required.
  • Uncertified PCAs are welcome; free training classes available in English and Spanish.
  • Recent Physical/Drug Screening Report is necessary.
  • Must possess a Social Security Card.
  • Physical ID is required.
  • COVID-19 Vaccination Card must be presented.

Nice-to-haves
