Responsibilities

• Provide personal care including bathing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
• Assist with ambulation, transfers, and use of mechanical lift devices.
• Perform range of motion exercises and vital sign checks (temperature, pulse, respiration).
• Manage home tasks such as laundry, meal preparation, and bed making.
• Assist with medication as needed.

Requirements

• Current Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) license in good standing with the NJ Board of Nursing.
• At least 1 year of experience as a companion or CHHA.

Nice-to-haves

• Certification training program available for non-certified individuals.
• Experience with dementia care.
