Responsibilities
- Personal care: bathing, grooming, toileting, feeding
- Ambulation / Transfers / mechanical lift devices / range of motion exercises
- Vital sign checks: temperature, pulse, respiration
- Home management: laundry, meal preparation, bed making, etc.
- Medication assistance
Requirements
- Current Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) license in good standing with the NJ Board of Nursing
- At least 1 year of experience as a companion or CHHA
Nice-to-haves
- Certification in Dementia Training
- Experience with hospice care
