About the position
The Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) position at CVHCare involves providing skilled services and assistance with daily activities to patients under the supervision of a Licensed/Certified Clinician. This role is essential in supporting patients' health and well-being through various tasks, including monitoring vital signs and assisting with personal care activities.
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled services and assistance with basic daily activities to patients.
- Check and document patients' temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Assist patients with exercises or routines as prescribed by clinicians.
- Support patients with daily activities such as dressing, grooming, hygiene, and feeding.
- Assist with ambulatory transfers and light housekeeping tasks.
Requirements
- Minimum one (1) year experience working as a Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA).
- Minimum one (1) year experience checking vitals and documenting on clinical charts.
- California Home Health Aide Certification and CPR Certification.
- General knowledge of clinical terminology and practices.
- Strong attention to detail for accurate chart documentation.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Proficient in using computers and various software systems, including Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Gmail.
