About the position
Unicity Homecare is seeking Certified Home Health Aides (CHHA) to provide essential care to clients in various counties. The role involves following care plans, assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs), and ensuring the health and safety of clients. This position offers flexible scheduling with both hourly and live-in options, allowing aides to choose their working hours while receiving competitive pay.
Responsibilities
- Follow care plans and assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs).
- Provide personal care and support to clients in their homes.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Document care provided and report any changes in client condition.
Requirements
- Current NJ CHHA or CNA license in good standing.
- Driver's License and own transportation.
- Minimum of 6 months experience in a similar role.
- PPD test less than 12 months old.
- COVID vaccinated/boosted and yearly flu shots required.
Nice-to-haves
- Bilingual in Spanish, Polish, Russian, or Korean.
