About the position

Elara Caring is seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as Home Health Aides and Homemakers. The primary mission of this role is to provide essential care and support to clients in their homes, ensuring their safety and well-being. Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, housekeeping, and meal preparation.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Transport clients to appointments and activities as needed.
• Complete necessary documentation and reports regarding client care.
• Participate in training and orientation sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements

• A passion for helping people and a big heart.
• Reliable transportation to travel to clients' homes.
• Home Health Aide certification or valid Certified Nursing Assistant certification (if applying for Home Health Aide role).
• Certificate of completion from the Personal and Home Care Aide State Training (if applying for Homemaker role).
• Ability to perform occasional heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds).

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in home care or healthcare settings.
