About the position
The Certified Home Health Aide will provide essential home health and long-term care services to patients in the community, focusing on both ambulatory and bed-bound individuals. Responsibilities
- Be caring and compassionate toward patients and their caretakers.
- Monitor, record, and communicate changes in patient's condition and respond as appropriate to the needs of the patient and family.
- Adhere to the Center for Disease Control, Occupational Safety and Health Administration, and other governmental regulations.
- Use good judgment when dealing with patients, visitors, families, and co-workers.
- Demonstrate proper infection control measures.
- Work as part of a team.
- Gather and document the information of patients.
Requirements
- Currently licensed vocational nurse in the state of California.
- Reliable transportation.
- Complies with accepted professional standards and practice.
- Demonstrates good verbal and written communication, and organizational skills.
- Possesses and maintains current CPR/BLS certification.
