As a Certified Maintenance Technician at BGSF, you will be entering a vibrant and rapidly growing sector within the Property Management industry. You will be expected to complete a range of service requests, which may include light plumbing and electrical work, appliance installation and repair, as well as general maintenance tasks such as painting, drywall repair, and groundskeeping. This position is not only about technical skills but also about maintaining a friendly and customer service-oriented approach to interactions with both co-workers and residents. Responsibilities

  • Complete and troubleshoot common apartment service requests
  • Perform light plumbing and electrical repairs as needed
  • Change and repair light bulbs and locks
  • Install and repair appliances
  • Conduct exterior and interior painting and caulking
  • Perform light drywall repair
  • Engage in pressure washing and groundskeeping activities
  • Maintain cleanliness of breezeways and parking lots

Requirements

  • HVAC / EPA certification required
  • CPO License (Certified Pool Operator) preferred
  • Dependable transportation to and from work
  • Strong work ethic with reliability and dependability
  • Ability and desire to assist with other community projects
  • Enjoy working with others and taking direction when needed
  • Own a set of basic hand tools (e.g., screwdriver, channel lock/pliers, wrenches)
  • Power tools experience is a plus
  • Ability to lift 40-50 lbs
  • Maintain a friendly and customer service-oriented approach
