We offer a variety of comprehensive services including: Adult Medicine, Family Medicine, Pediatrics, OB/GYN, Behavioral Health, and health education through 5 community health centers and 8 school based health centers. The Certified Medical Assistant (MA) is responsible for assisting physicians with patient care, performing appropriate procedures, and preparing rooms and equipment. The MA is also responsible for maintaining records and interacting in a professional, friendly manner with patients and family members, physicians, staff, and visitors. The MA serves as a lead for process improvement teams. The MA may be required to fill some Center Service Representative responsibilities and may be cross-trained to cover other positions when needed. Work requires collaborative communication with others as it pertains to the patient's continuum of care and clinical operations. Courtesy, respect, friendliness, and tact are required in dealing with customers.
