Responsibilities

• Provide clinical support to licensed healthcare professionals during examinations and procedures.
• Assist in patient care, including taking vital signs and performing clinical intake.
• Organize and prioritize daily work assignments to support patient needs and operational efficiency.
• Document and capture charges for clinical support services rendered during patient visits.
• Perform administrative support tasks such as scheduling and assisting with forms.
• Maintain supplies and equipment necessary for clinic operations.
• Implement age-appropriate interventions based on individual patient needs.
• Reinforce patient/family teaching plans based on identified health education needs.
• Ensure a safe environment and safe delivery of care.
• Assist with data collection for various dimensions of patients' health.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant Program or Military Medical Specialist with 24 months experience.
• Current Medical Assistant Certification through a recognized national professional association is required within 6 months of hire.
• American Heart Association (AHA) Health Care Provider BLS certification is required at hire.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in a clinical setting is preferred but not required.
