About the position

Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for physician visits by taking vital signs and documenting information in the EMR system.
- Assist with patient services duties at the front desk, including answering phone calls and updating patient demographics.
- Provide outstanding customer service to patients and their families.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and HIPAA regulations.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of an Accredited Medical Assisting Program.
- Current Certified Medical Assistant or Registered Medical Assistant certification.
- Computer skills and basic medical terminology knowledge.
- Healthcare Provider CPR certification.
- Trained in OSHA/HIPAA compliance.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Willingness to work 12-hour shifts and weekends.
- Ability to work at other centers as needed.
