About the position

The Certified Medical Assistant at Mountain Spine Care plays a crucial role in supporting healthcare providers by assisting with patient assessments, treatments, and administrative tasks. This full-time position requires a proactive approach to patient care and the ability to maintain a well-organized clinical environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with performing patient assessments and treatments under the supervision of a provider.
  • Perform basic diagnostic procedures and specimen collection.
  • Monitor and communicate changes in patient condition.
  • Document patient care given.
  • Maintain examination areas and ensure cleanliness.
  • Maintain equipment and medical supplies, including stocking, cleaning, and troubleshooting.
  • Perform administrative or clerical duties such as filing, reception, scheduling, data entry, and patient registration.
  • Complete other tasks as delegated by practice leads, supervisors, managers, or the Market Director.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
  • Previous medical experience and knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
  • Critical thinking skills and decisive judgment are required.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and in a stressful environment.
  • Certified Medical Assistant or Registered Medical Assistant required.
  • AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.
