About The Position

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant Program with pharmacology and medication administration included in the curriculum.
• Certification/registry must be obtained by the last day of the sixth month of hire.
• Current certification or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire as CMA, RMA, or CCMA required.
• Previous work in a medical office preferred.
• Ability to complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing.
