About the position

Infusion For Health is a leading referral-based infusion center with locations across California, Arizona, Nevada, Washington, Colorado, and Missouri. We pride ourselves on offering unique, comfortable, private rooms for our patients and providing exceptional service in a patient-focused environment. We are seeking a dedicated Certified Medical Assistant to join our center in Santa Monica, CA. This is a 5 days, 40 hours/week role (no nights, no weekends).

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, obtain medical history and vital signs, and record information in electronic health records.
• Prepare infusion suites, assist with exams and procedures, administer medications and injections, and perform phlebotomy.
• Schedule appointments, assist with patient check-out, and handle front office tasks such as answering phones and scheduling.
• Communicate with patients and their families about health education and follow-up care.

Requirements

• Certified Medical Assistant (Required)
• BLS Certification (Required)
• Minimum 2 years as a Medical Assistant
• 1 year experience with vital signs
• 2 years of recent experience with EMR/EHR systems
• Experience with insurance benefits investigation and authorizations
• Exceptional customer service and phone etiquette
• Ability to maintain an organized environment to ensure timely patient flow.
