About the position
As a Certified Medical Assistant, you will work in a dynamic environment where you can fully utilize your skills and interact with a diverse patient population. NaphCare is hiring experienced Certified Medical Assistants (CMA) for the Rockdale County Jail facility in Conyers, Georgia. We offer Full Time, Part Time, and PRN shifts, with hours varying based on coverage needs determined by site leadership. Responsibilities
- Provide routine clinical tasks
- Perform routine blood drawing procedures
- Take and document vital signs, height and weight
- Assist with PPDs and EKGs
- Assist with examinations and/or treatments
- Assist with patient hygiene, ambulation, and dressing changes
Requirements
- STATE or National Certification as a Certified Medical Assistant
- Experience in providing clinical tasks in a healthcare setting
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in correctional healthcare
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills
